The Chrome extension

Some tools at ZTOOLZ are extension-type tools, which means they work through a dedicated Google Chrome extension. The extension connects your browser to the tool so it opens already signed in.

Installation

   Download the extension

   In Platform tutorials, click Download extension. You will also find a visual walkthrough of the install steps there.

   Install it in Chrome

   Follow the steps in the walkthrough in order, since installing the extension involves specific steps in Chrome's extensions settings.

   Sign in

   Open the extension and sign in with your ZTOOLZ account to see your tools.

   Open a tool

   Pick a tool from the extension or from My subscriptions and it opens in a new tab.

If a tool doesn't work

• Make sure the extension is enabled and you are signed in to it.
• Close the tool's tab and open it again from the extension.
• Check that you have the latest extension build from Platform tutorials.
• Don't clear the tool site's cookies manually and don't log out of it.
