Renewing your subscription

How to renew before your subscription ends, and why it doesn't renew automatically.

2 min read

When you pay by wallet or transfer, your subscription doesn't renew automatically, because these methods can't charge you without your action. That means you need to renew yourself before the expiry date.

How to renew

  1. 1
    Check the expiry date

You'll find each subscription's expiry date in My subscriptions.

  2. 2
Buy the same item from the store

Open the store, choose the same plan or tool you want to renew and check out as usual.

  3. 3
    Confirm activation

Once payment is confirmed, check My subscriptions to make sure the expiry date has been updated.

We send you a reminder before your subscription ends so a loss of access doesn't catch you by surprise. Make sure your Profile email is correct so reminders reach you.

Keep the replacement rules in mind when renewing: buying a different type from your current subscription, such as a plan instead of single tools, may replace it. Checkout makes this clear.

Renew well ahead of time, especially if your payment method needs a manual review.

What if I forget to renew?

It's not a big problem: access to the subscription's tools stops when it ends, and you can buy again at any time to get them back. Read What happens when a subscription expires to see what stays in your account.
